To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following core skills: A degree within design, digitalisation, IT, or similar 1+ years of experience working with UX/UI in digital solutions Fluency in English, both written and spoken Experience with digital transformation or product development within the healthcare industry is a plus Strong communication skills with experience in navigating complex user environments A solid toolbox equipped with: UX and UI design tools, design thinking, user research methods, and agile principles Experience working with various design tools (e.g., Miro, Dovetail, Notion) and fluency within Figma
On a personal level, you have an inclusive and critical mindset and apply user empathy to challenge the status quo in your interactions with stakeholders. You can set direction on strategic matters and communicate an engaging vision that is founded on a broader purpose.
About the department The Digital Transformation Office is the department responsible for the identification, ideation, funding, and follow-up of new digital initiatives for Development. In a unique setting, we bring together designers, engineers, and healthcare professionals to discover and develop the right solutions. At Novo Nordisk, Development is the area responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide, from early drug research to the conduction of trials, to product launch. Development provides medical- and scientific documentation for clinical submissions while adhering to clinical standards, regulations, and business ethics, globally. As a UX/UI Designer at the Digital Transformation Office, you will be a central part of catalysing digitalisation and transformation of this area.
The team you will be joining in the Digital Transformation Office is called Digital Discovery. We are a team of UX strategists, user researchers, and “product thinkers” who believe that a good user experience of our digital products can significantly improve the quality of life and efficiency for our colleagues, as well as create better lives for patients. To achieve this vision, we help in the very early stages of new digital ideas. We do experiments to prove strong product desirability early on and collaborate extensively with our colleagues from all areas across the Development department. To us, the design role can take many shapes, and we all strive to support and help educate the organisation about user-centred product design. Working at Novo Nordisk
At Novo Nordisk, we don’t wait for change. We drive it. We’re a dynamic company in an even more dynamic industry, and we know that what got us to where we are today is not necessarily what will make us successful in the future. We embrace the spirit of experimentation, striving for excellence without fixating on perfection. We never shy away from opportunities to develop, we seize them. From research and development, through to manufacturing, marketing and sales – we’re all working to move the needle on patient care.
