Then, this is your moment as we are looking for a Corporate Counsel to join the Pharma Law team in Global Legal to support our Product Supply organisation. The position As Corporate Counsel for Product Supply, you will pursue innovative approaches to handling challenging legal issues, incl. forming strategies and ensuring execution in close collaboration with internal and external partners. Among other strategic legal tasks, you will support on drafting and negotiating global contracts related to large scale projects, incl. outsourcing and supply agreements. The potential impact of your work is large, given that you will: • Work on cases that are high-value, broad in scope and complexity, identifying critical legal issues and strategic business options. • Have a key role in supporting the business by ensuring successful outcomes in high-impact contract negotiations, • Collaborate with, and influence, senior stakeholders. • Work closely with our Global Legal and other colleagues across the world, leveraging all relevant competencies. • Drive ad hoc projects and activities focused on optimising the way we work, e.g. within ensuring optimal contracting setup, external counsel management, offshoring to our contracting CoE in India, knowledge sharing and training. Your responsibilities will include being legal business partner to Strategic Sourcing - an area responsible for the strategic sourcing activities related to Novo Nordisk’s production sites worldwide as well as global management of suppliers. Qualifications You hold a relevant master’s degree in Law, have minimum 3 years of post-graduation experience, and have a strong track record as legal counsel at a law firm or in an internationally oriented company. To thrive and succeed, we expect you to bring and be interested in further developing: • Strong legal acumen, including within drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts • Business partnering skills, including a proactive approach to understanding our customers’ needs and enabling business results through best-in-class legal advice • Project management skills, incl. ability to drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a structured manner, and to take a strategic approach to risk management and prioritisation • Enjoy working both independently and in cross-functional teams • Strong written and verbal English communication and stakeholder management skills, which enable you to clearly convey complex issues and navigate among stakeholders from different cultures and business functions. You will bring to your work a high level of energy, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach, and will join a team of highly motivated, hard-working, and collaborative professionals. About the department You will be a key part of the high performing, dynamic and fun team consisting of 7 lawyers that are all legal business partners to Novo Nordisk’s strategic sourcing units within the Product Supply organisation. The team is part of the Pharma Law team (consisting of 20+ employees) in Global Legal & Patents, located in Novo Nordisk’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark.
