We are looking for a Senior Vice President (SVP) Communication Partner to join our Global Medical Affairs (GMA) Executive Office team at [xxxxx]. The position As an SVP Communication Partner at [xxxxx], you will act as a communication partner to the SVP of Global Medical Affairs (GMA) and GMA Leadership Team (LT), supporting cross-functional business processes, strategic, organisational changes, and projects. Other responsibilities will include:
  • Management Support by producing and facilitating customized communication materials to ensure clear messaging for the target audience

  • Overseeing communication activities for major initiatives, including strategy implementation and organisational changes

  • Content development through creating and implementing communication plans and storylines with team members and stakeholders

  • Aligning internal communications across GMA, managing communication channels, and organising GMA events for +350 colleagues

  • External communication through collaborating with Corporate Communication and Public Affairs to publicize GMA news and results

  • You will be a part of a communication network with other SVP communication partners and also a part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators Network (GCN).

    • Qualifications As a person, you possess a proactive and strategic mindset, coupled with the ability and motivation to drive strategic initiatives and execute operations independently. Your strong business understanding and exceptional stakeholder management and cooperation skills enable you to navigate complex organisational landscapes effectively. You excel in process facilitation and coaching, earning credibility among senior management through your strong communication skills and attention to detail. With high standards and a structured approach, you maintain a service mindset with a "can-do" attitude, demonstrating integrity in handling confidential information. To be successful in this role you need to hold:
  • A master's degree in a relevant field with min. 5 years of relevant experience within communication or a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Cross-functional project management experience in global large organisation

  • Working across an organisation and interacting with different functional areas with senior management and various stakeholders

  • Fluent in English (written and oral communication)

    • About the department The GMA Executive Office is anchored in the Development organisation and is located in Søborg (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark, the GMA Executive Office supports the senior leadership team in GMA. In GMA we are working to improve patient lives - we do this through building bridges between our stakeholders and delivering insights about [xxxxx]’s research activities to our external stakeholders and by providing external medical input to colleagues across the organisation. You will become part of a team of 9 dedicated individuals with multiple profiles, ranging from communication, project management, data analysis, or strategy leads. The main aim is to ensure a close link between the strategic processes, from finance, performance management, and communication on behalf of and in close collaboration with the leadership team.
