The position
As a member of the Global Payer Evidence team, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative pipeline assets in Novo Nordisk’s history. The team is in charge of Payer Evidence strategy and long-term evidence planning across the portfolio. In your role as the Global Project Director, you will be accountable for the evidence strategy for a given therapy area as well as the execution and communication of evidence, thereby shaping the strategic direction for new assets and build-up of new treatment paradigms. This also includes close cross-functional collaborations to align on evidence gaps and activities. Importantly, the role also involves promoting the understanding, application and scaling of (gen)AI in evidence generation as well as driving (gen)AI into relevant methods and processes in Market Access and PSAP. Key responsibilities: Set direction for (Gen)AI in RWE for payer and Market Access purposes and implement this into our existing way of working with evidence and deliverables Build the data architecture/framework to support the implementation of (Gen)AI into different deliverables, methods, processes, and ways of working within PSAP/GPE, working closely with key stakeholders Drive payer evidence strategy and tactics, and spearhead market access preparation for products in development and launch Lead payer-relevant real-world evidence studies (incl. costed patient pathways, treatment patterns, patient preferences, and burden of illness, and set evidence direction for Global Market Access and operations Own descriptive and statistical analyses from secondary RWD sources and manage ad-hoc evidence requests from affiliates to drive payer dialogues and HTA submissions, and anticipate and shape payer/HTA evidence requirements via publications and external engagement Represent the payer view and PSAP/GPE in cross-functional evidence and (gen)AI forum and processes For these purposes, you will need to build and maintain a comprehensive network of stakeholders with expertise in Payer Evidence as well as AI in evidence generation both internally and externally.
Qualifications
We are seeking a candidate with expertise in data science, evidence generation, RWE and (gen)AI, who can bring innovation and breakthrough thinking to our team. Your work will contribute to development of winning evidence strategies and important transformation of how we work in evidence generation for our portfolio of innovation. To be successful in this role, you should have: M.Sc./Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific field, e.g. data science, epidemiology, AI, HEOR, economics, and at least 7 years of experience in evidence generation, data science and RWE, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy Strong technical/programming background and interest, including programming/coding and prompt engineering skills Strong grasp of RWE for payer and access purposes, incl. HTA Insight of (gen)AI in relevant methodologies, statistics and work process optimization Fluency in written and spoken English On a personal level, you possess strong project and stakeholder management skills, as well as effective communication skills. Additionally, you have a strategic and growth mindset, with a problem-solving approach enabling you to identify solutions and influence decisions. Finally, your ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders across key markets and functions are highly desirable.
