Ambu develops and markets intelligent medical devices, based on a combination of state-of-the-art software, hardware, mechanics, and other imaging technologies. We need you to support our development teams in developing high-quality products that complies with relevant regulation by guiding the teams to follow best-practice development processes and securing the right level of documentation.
In our Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will be part of one or more our product development teams within our monitor product range, where software and hardware are important technological areas.

In the job as Quality Assurance Engineer you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You can expect some travel activity (10-20 days per year) in connection with development projects, conferences, global Quality meetings etc.
We expect you to be structured and have a technical background
To succeed in the job, you probably have a technical background as biomedical, electronics or software engineer, scientist or similar. Experience within product development, medical devices, and/or QA work will be an advantage.
It is important that you have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, that you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have a clear ability to maintain overview in a sometimes hectic changing environment and you are a team player with the ability to also work independently.
It is natural for you to take charge and you are proactive, good at prioritizing, planning, and finalizing your tasks.

- Provide proactive and professional QAE support to the development projects ensuring compliant design control.
- Handle risk management as part of your support to the development projects.
- Support the Software and Hardware development in all phases of the medical device development process.
- Take part in process improvement activities in order to always keep our system up-to-date.
