The job
As a Procurement Development Specialist within the Procurement Center of Expertise, your overall objective is to develop, plan and facilitate the implementation of the procurement capability building program. Furthermore you will ensure a strong and structured communication around the procurement strategy implementation and procurement’s overall achievements within the organization. You will get exposure to the Global Procurement organization utilizing your people and communications skills, and making a difference in a time where procurement excellence is prominent on the corporate agenda.

This position is tightly linked to the Procurement strategy’s implementation. This is a unique opportunity for personal and professional development working in a high performance culture where procurement has a high impact and brings significant value to LEO Pharma.
Your qualifications
You are known for your strong drive and ability to create results as well as your planning & execution skills. You have a natural trend to challenge the status-quo and you are able to work independently, drive initiatives on your own. Additionally, you have strong communication skills and you like to work in an international environment, where objectives and priorities are under continuous development.

You will join the Procurement Center of Expertise and its seven dedicated, highly skilled and diverse members. The Procurement Center of Expertise is a part of Global Procurement and is responsible for the procurement analytics, processes, systems and tools and their digitalization. We are an engaged team of procurement professionals striving for excellence located in the LEO Pharma headquarter in Ballerup, greater Copenhagen but also in Gdansk, Poland.

The job
As a Procurement Development Specialist within the Procurement Center of Expertise, your overall objective is to develop, plan and facilitate the implementation of the procurement capability building program. Furthermore you will ensure a strong and structured communication around the procurement strategy implementation and procurement’s overall achievements within the organization. You will get exposure to the Global Procurement organization utilizing your people and communications skills, and making a difference in a time where procurement excellence is prominent on the corporate agenda.
Moreover, you will:
- Execute on the procurement capability building program roadmap.
- Explore internal & external training potentials and plan the further development of the capability building program.
- Ensure proactive and clear communication on the procurement strategy execution internally and on our various communication channels to the rest of the business.
- Identify improvement potential and execute to create value.

Your qualifications
- University degree in e.g. economics, business administration, communication, supply chain management.
- 2-5 years of experience working with project management, procurement or business development in a leading organisation.
- Preferably experience within projects related to communication, capability building, talent development, change management and strategy development & implementation.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
