Through its Jabra brand, GN Audio is a world leader in intelligent audio and video solutions, and as Commodity Manager, you will be part of our Global Sourcing team managing a significant share of the total spend.
Through focus on commercials (TCO), technologies and quality related aspects, your mission will be to deliver a strong supply base that contributes to our business with best in class performance. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organization, external stakeholders, and suppliers from the early creation of commodity strategies to implementation.

With focus on total cost, you will actively lead a cross-functional commodity management team to design, develop and implement electronic solutions in close cooperation with concepting design teams and our suppliers. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Excellent commercial abilities, technical understanding, and strong negotiation skills
In order to succeed in this position, you need to be a great communicator with high integrity and stakeholder management skills, as you need to engage with different management levels both within the GN Audio organization and at senior levels within our supplier base.
You have a strategic mindset with a strong business acumen and an entrepreneurial attitude – you can translate strategy into action. Moreover, you have an explicit proactive drive for results and success, and you are not afraid of challenging solutions and processes.
Your new team
You will work out of Ballerup, Denmark, join a global team of ten highly dedicated colleagues and report to the Director, Global Sourcing, Mikael Riberholdt. You can expect 30-40 travel days per year as the majority of our strategic suppliers are located in Asia, across Europe and Americas.

- Commodity optimization including contingency planning

Excellent commercial abilities, technical understanding, and strong negotiation skills
- You probably have a Master’s degree with commercial focus perhaps combined with a Graduate program, but more importantly, you are passionate about Sourcing on a global footprint, and has a technical flair
- You have a background within commodity management or sourcing with 5 years of experience in an international company
- You are analytical and fact based, preferably you have experience from working with development projects
- You possess solid negotiation skills, project management and contracting skills
