We are looking for a maternity cover in Supplier Quality Management (SQM) to keep raising the quality of supplier deliverables to our production sites. You will be a part of improving and securing that the quality of our products is on a high level, to have the best products on the market.
About our Department
You will be joining a team of highly engaged colleagues with different backgrounds. It is our responsibility to ensure that the quality deliverables from our suppliers are within the requested level.
Our department plays an important role during the supplier sourcing process, having the responsibility of assessing the potential supplier’s quality management system and initiating qualification plans, to develop and approve them as suppliers to Coloplast.
SQM is a central department in Coloplast with a lot of internal and external stakeholders. Thus, we work closely with Procurement and Supply Chain to optimize supplier quality and delivery – with Global R&D in innovation projects selecting new suppliers – with our Production Sites as well as with the rest of the Global Quality departments. Most importantly we aim at building strong collaboration with our many suppliers.
The position is in Humlebæk. Expected travel days will be a approximately 20 days, primarily outside Denmark.
Work with our global suppliers
You will act as the supplier’s “one point of contact” regarding quality issues. This entails relationship building with key partners and professional complaint handling as well as negotiating and implementing sustainable quality contracts in close collaboration with Coloplast Corporate Procurement. As part of this, you plan and execute site visits and audits, and you conduct supplier review board meetings with stakeholders at various international sites.

- Working closely with international production sites in complaint handling and root cause analysis
- Participating in innovation projects

- Driving improvement projects within Quality

What you bring with you:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in engineering/pharmacy or equivalent combined with experience within supplier quality management, project management, production or R&D
- Quality experience and mindset – preferably from the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
- Stakeholder management skills as well as a good understanding of business processes
- Auditor experience is an advantage
- An analytical approach to working with corrective & preventive actions
- Willingness to contribute to a positive working environment
