The Platforms M&A team works in every investment deal that Maersk is involved. This role will lead cross-functional initiatives both before and after an investment takes place and will involve defining key value drivers with various stakeholders, implementing actionable plans to achieve investment objectives, and diving deep on tactical aspects of projects in need of extra attention. Successful candidates will be self-starters, able to work autonomously, natural problem solvers, collaborative, and not fazed by adversity or ambiguity.

Key responsibilities
You will work with the different Business Platforms of the company, supporting the M&A initiatives. You work with other product owners responding for the analysis of the potential mergers/acquisitions fit within our vision and what new functionalities and capabilities will be available to customers. You will also collaborate with the relevant internal product and tech teams to determine the resource needs to enable the integration as well as the proper resource allocation to these initiatives and its impact and fit with existing roadmaps. You will work in an area that has the full attention of the management board, an ambitious and impactful product road map and a broad range of demanding customers and stakeholders. Your key responsibility will be to ensure the proper integration of the newly acquired teams and solutions to accelerate our product road map while increasing the quality of our deliverables.
We are looking for
- Experience in managing complex, cross-functional product development from exploration to market launch and maturity.
- Experience in driving high visibility company wide programs on a global scale with high degree of ambiguity.
- Influence multiple cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines.
- Proven project management skills to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Think strategically and execute methodically.
- Enable efficient and effective execution of deliverables, building, maintaining, and improving mechanisms, processes, standards, and playbooks.
- Bring superior program management skills and ability to assess and integrate new information and requirements into plans seamlessly.
- Highlight and appropriately escalate any bottlenecks that block progress while proposing potential solutions to enable rapid decision making.
- Ability to earn trust with a diverse group of stakeholders and influence without authority.
- Provide regular, precise and effective status updates on key programs, processes and metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical discipline (ideally computer science or engineering)
- 5+ years of experience delivering successful products or developing businesses in a technical field
- Experience shaping product strategy, prioritization, and specification
- Excellent communication (written/oral) and stakeholder/partner management
- · Ability to work autonomously in a highly-demanding and often ambiguous environment with attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Master’s Degree
- Experience with platforms and development tools
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases
- Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results
- Demonstrated ability to define, plan, deliver, and measure products with a growing scope or complexity
- Experience working with, engaging, and influencing multiple cross-functional teams and leaders
