We are looking for a hands-on Product Manager to join our Product Management Team. You will be a part of a fast-growing global baby brand and a dynamic team.

As our new Product Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and planning the timeline for the two annual collections. You will be responsible for the overall product development process ensuring that all agreed deadlines related to all NPI’s are met ‒ from the early specifications to global launch.

You will support our design & product team as well as our Compliance, Packaging and Marketing team with new product introductions. Most importantly you will work closely with the Sourcing Manager and Sales Team on masterdata, forecasting, ordersheets and data validation.

In addition, you will also be responsible for designing and implementing processes and methods to improve the overall GTM process. Furthermore, you will undertake Sales reporting & analysis for Head of Product Management and prepare all businesscases for NPI’s.

As a person, you are highly detail-oriented, structured, and analytical. You are a team player and at the same time work well with independent work. It is important that you have a good knowledge of product development, systems, reporting & analysis and can handle big data. The collaboration within the company is essential to us and you must therefore be passionate about developing relationships cross divisionally from Sales, Marketing to Sourcing. You are a versatile and ambitious person with a natural ability to make decisions, handle data and facilitate the GTM process - this is vital, as we depend on effective cooperation throughout the entire process.

You will be working from the BIBS’s Head office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen and report to the Head of Product Management

Responsibilities

Your primary tasks will include:

  • Facilitate and coordinate the complete GTM process, ensuring continuous progress and being available for discussions about the challenges that occur
  • Act as a gatekeeper between all departments/cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth launch
  • Spot red flag risks on new products or sales channels and develop relevant responding plans

  • Ensure high quality of master data and validate before handing over to Sales and Production
  • Evaluate ideas, motivate teams to meet deadlines, and ensure all-around alignment in the go-to-market process.
  • Continuous communication with stakeholders, including the reporting of progress in relation to the timeline and budget.
  • Facilitate the development of all new packaging for new NPI’s with our Packaging & Sourcing Manager.
  • Close partnership with the Compliance Manager to ensure all products are fully compliant and all necessary steps have been taken before launch

  • Monitoring all sample budgets & placing POs for Commercial team for Testing, Marketing & PR team
  • Building business case for all NPI’s in close corporation with Head of Product Management, Tooling Manager, Design team and Sourcing Manager

  • Sales forecast preparation and planning for all NPI’s in close corporation with sales, sourcing & Head of Product Management
  • Conducting sales & channel analysis and reporting how existing products and NPI’s are selling to anticipate future products and category building

  • Assortiment building with Head of Product Management, and identifying new heros in the collection aligning with our target margin.
  • Collaboration with Head of Product Management on project scopes and analyse market trends for future growth

Education & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Product, Project, Planning or Supply Chain role - preferably in a children's products, toys, textile, and interior company
  • Must have a theoretical education at bachelor's level in Supply Chain or Project Management. A career in trade or purchasing is a plus
  • Strong project management skills; including managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Always a problem solver and with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst embracing new challenges.
  • Strong experience in analytical and data modelling
  • Must have experience working with Project Management, ERP, PLM & PIM systems
  • You can use the entire office suite and are a super user in PowerPoint and Excel including Pivot table.
  • Effectively communicate at all organizational levels.
  • Have a strong focus and energetic approach with the ability to make a team work together towards a common goal.
  • Proactive, self-driven and result oriented.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex data
  • Possess a collaborative personality and be open to suggestions from team members
  • Be fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
