This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to employ their technical expertise in a position with responsibilities for the management of optimisation and improvement projects within Diabetes Finished Products (DFP).
About the department
Site Support & Improvements is a dynamic department, consisting of 100 competent employees, within manufacturing development in DFP. The department supports our global DFP production sites in manufacturing our diabetes products, and sets the direction for new technology, innovation and production optimisation. A high level of knowledge and process understanding is anchored in the department.
As a project manager you will be working in a team consisting of 6 project managers and 5 Data Scientists. We are an ambitious and high performing team known for delivering strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by driving improvement and optimisation projects in close cooperation with our global production sites. We share a relaxed tone and high ambitions.
The position
As a project manager you will be responsible for driving improvement and optimisation projects. You will lead the projects from idea phase until implementation phase. Once implemented the projects will be handed over to production sites in DFP across the world.
We execute and manage projects within process optimisation and improvement, scrap and cost reduction and implementation of new technologies. Projects vary in complexity level. In the role as project manager you will have to manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders incl. manufacturing, QA and regulatory affairs, specialists, professionals and management.
By excellent project execution you will successfully deliver solutions to key challenges within ambitious timelines. The job is performed in an international environment and hence flexibility to travel is to some extend required.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree as Pharmacist, Engineer or similar and have a couple of years’ experiences as project manager within pharmaceutical production or pharma industry. Knowledge of aseptic processing and GMP is required as well as experience in leading matrix teams.
You have a high degree of can-do mindset and drive and you can challenge the existing way of doing things. Your energy and willingness to make a difference and optimise processes shows in your daily work.
To be successful as project manager you should be solution-oriented and able to effectively communicate, collaborate, and foster positive interactions with project team members and stakeholders.
