We are looking for a new Associate Manager for one of the three teams in the Project Management Office (PMO) in Injectable Finished Products (IFP) based in Hillerød. Apply now! The Position As our new Associate Manager, you will be responsible for the Aseptic Production (AP) and IT PMO team. Your team of 11 dynamic and ambitious Project Managers with various backgrounds delivers high-quality management for projects of varying size, budget, and complexity. The project portfolio covered by the team is within Aseptic Production (AP), designed to ramp up and improve a new filling production capacity. These projects are related to new equipment, IT systems, and optimized production processes within wash and sterilization, formulation, filling, and inspection. Also covered by this are the projects related to the Digital and IT (DD&IT) portfolio of our production site. As an Associate Manager in this position, you have three focus areas: Direct Leadership: • Day-to-day leadership of academic employees working as project managers.
• Being an authentic and relevant leader focusing on developing, giving guidance, sparing, and having 1:1 meetings.
• Allocating employees to projects, continuously planning for resource allocation within a growing portfolio.
• Developing and strengthening team culture and collaboration.
Project Portfolio Management: • Being part of the steering group setup for the AP and DD&IT portfolio, working closely with our site portfolio managers.
• Setting the direction to ensure that all project-related tasks within the team are executed effectively.
• Maintaining close dialogue with the line of business as well as stakeholders on the corporate level.
• Supporting production by running projects efficiently, including our ongoing Agile journey within the DD&IT.
Department and Site Leadership Team: • Being part of the PMO Management leadership team and participating in the collective PMO strategy planning and execution.
• Being a Novo Nordisk leader following the leadership principles and all the structures and systems that support that leadership behavior.
• Role modeling the Novo Nordisk Way and working inclusively with stakeholders and manager groups across the site. Qualifications
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have: • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, pharmaceuticals, or a similar field.
• 5 years of working experience including experience as a leader. Project Management experience is preferred but not a requirement.
• Good communication skills with experience working cross-functionally and building relations with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Interest in project portfolio management.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Danish will be a plus.

You have a structured approach to your work, and you can juggle several tasks while prioritizing your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. You will be expected to demonstrate inclusive leadership by valuing and actively listening to diverse perspectives while maintaining a strategic overview to ensure collaboration across business functions. As a leader, you ensure the well-being and development of our employees while optimizing and preparing our processes for the future. About the Department The PMO AP team is placed in the Project Management Office department, which is part of Production Support at our site IFP HI, a production site that is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to 14,000 employees worldwide. Production Support consists of 85 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds with a common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within IFP HI. The site relies on brand-new Aseptic Production as well as Assembly and Packaging lines, Material handling, and Warehouses. Here we produce Diabetes and Obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide. The PMO department consists of three Associate managers, each with a team of highly skilled Project Managers or other project-related employees, including Project Portfolio Managers and Shutdown Managers. The PMO department is responsible for: • Project Execution in production as well as support areas.
• Project portfolio management including budgeting, reporting, and controlling.
• Shutdown management.
• Maintaining and developing the Project Execution model, including standards, processes, and competencies.
