For the Femern project we are looking for a Senior Planning Engineer. The primary responsibility of the Senior Planning Engineer is to provide the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Project Planning team with the expertise to deliver the project in the most effective manner and with solid scheduling updates and KPI status.

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
At the pre-construction stage the Senior Planning Engineer shall support the key stakeholders with the development of an acceptable delivery strategy to execute a project in an effective manner through the review of project scope and objectives.
The ideal candidate holds an engineering and construction background and heavy infrastructure project experience, with the ability to work with strict deadlines and willing to learn and develop a career in the Planning, Scheduling and Project Control field.

Main tasks:
- Revise as appropriate the contractual Baseline Programme (P6 Primavera including contractual milestones) complying with the TXX contracts.
- Revise Primavera P6 Programme according to the existing framework (coding structures, activity IDs, Calendars, etc.)
- Implement and develop the Last Planner System at site level (3 weeks look ahead).
- Coordinate the monthly updates of Programme (time, resources, relationships) by integrating the last planner system into Primavera P6.
- Update the resource catalogue and implement it in Primavera P6.
- Assist with Time Location and 4D Planning support.
- Support with Change Management / Time Impact analysis.
- Provide with time input to Monthly Report.
- Perform variance analysis and work out the mitigation measures with execution team.
- Raise early warnings with respect to time for completion risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar.
- +8 years’ experience in Planning, Scheduling and Control in EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of Heavy Infrastructure projects.
- Good command of CPM scheduling software Oracle Primavera P6 EPPM is a must.
- Understanding of Linear Planning (Time Location tools), 4D Construction Planning, BIM and Project Control is a must.
- Good understanding and/or experience Last Planner System.
- Proficient in the MS Office 365 and willing to explore and develop skills in Power BI.
- Good verbal and writing skills including technical terms in English (Danish is a plus).
- High ethical standards, honesty, and integrity.
- Ability to work within multicultural teams and stakeholders on site and remotely.
- Analytical and reporting skills and mindset.
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to organize the work of a team to meet agreed deadlines; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to work towards or having a certified membership from AACE International (PSP), PMI (PMI-SP) or APM (APMG PPC Practitioner).
