Are you a strong Project Manager, with the ability to implement complex projects in a global organisation and do you have a good understanding of the dynamics in the pharma industry? Then you might be the Project Manager we are looking for in MARS Business Support and Project Office, R&D.
About the department
The Project Office in Søborg is part of MARS (Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and Global Safety) and works closely with stakeholders across the organisation in Denmark and in the affiliates. We are a team of app 20 engaged employees with backgrounds from different industries, and/or consultancies. Together we are responsible for cross-organisational projects in the MARS organisation of approximately 1000 employees + close colleagues in affiliates around the world.
The job
As a Project Manager your main responsibility will be to drive cross-organisational projects with high impact on the performance of the organisation.
You will be responsible for setting direction for the project and the project team, engaging and managing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and managing your Steering Group. Your success in this role is dependent on your cooperation and communication skills, your analytical skills and ability to quickly understand the processes and setup.
You will contribute to continuously improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our business processes, ensuring that we are set for the future both in terms of business growth as well as authority requirements.
Qualifications
You have completed a relevant Master’s degree with excellent results and have at least 3 years of practical Project Management experience, preferably within the pharma industry or as a consultant. You have a solid track record of handling complex cross-organisational projects and you have acquired solid experience using and applying classic Project Management tools. If you have experience in process improvements, it is an advantage.
You are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organisational level and you have experience in working across organisational and geographical boundaries. Leading others in project contexts comes natural to you, and you use your energy and understanding of other people to timely involve the right competencies in the right processes and carry project ideas through with success.
Important is also to have a high level of drive, initiative and persistence, result-oriented, while being a team player. In addition, you are ambitious and like to be challenged. You are analytical, structured, and comfortable managing a project team. Finally, you are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
