Hi, my name is Casper, and I am the Head of Finance in Svitzer. Right now, I am looking for a new dedicated colleague for a very interesting role with great potential here in our HQ in Copenhagen.
As our new Global Finance Portfolio & Analysis Manager, you become part of a very dedicated, competent, and fun-loving team of 10 people in Group Finance. We monitor and control finance and financial reporting for 4,000 employees and 440 vessels operating worldwide to service more than 150 ports and terminals across the globe.

Key responsibilities
As Global Finance Portfolio & Analysis Manager, you will be working closely with Finance and other cross-functional colleagues in the Svitzer Head Office, in our regions and local entities as well as in Maersk Group, to deliver on the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Facilitation of quarterly forecasting process and preparation of consolidated reports and presentations for Svitzer leadership team.
- Performance Management/Management Reporting: Drive accurate, timely and aligned reporting of financial, commercial and operational performance indicators. Act as the analytical anchor point for performance reviews actions and drive follow-ups.
- Partnering: Be the global key finance contact for the Svitzer leadership team, regional CFO and FP&A professionals to form business decisions and enable follow-up. Assist in evaluating alternative strategies and providing recommendations to the business and especially BDV. Perform ad-hoc analysis and insights to business based on business needs.
- Support ad hoc projects, when relevant.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate holds a relevant master’s degree in Economics, Business or any other relevant field and comes with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working from a similar role in a finance function.
You have an analytical and structured approach to your work but also apply logic and pragmatic thinking. You are committed to delivering results and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving corporate environment where decisions are followed by prompt action.
You are devoted to meet expectations from our global organization and you enjoy taking ownership and responsibility, working in teams and delivering a quality product. Your analytical skills enable you to keep focus on and deal with complex issues. You are a strong communicator and an acknowledged team player with a high degree of personal integrity.
You have a positive attitude and have outspoken collaboration skills. In addition to this you have excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
As our corporate language is English, you must be fluent in both oral and written English. You must hold a valid Danish residence and work permit.
