In Novo Nordisk, we have the ambition to be on the forefront when it comes to adopting modern technology to support our growth journey. One key area is digitalization in manufacturing and to convey that, we are now investing in manufacturing data analytics and visualisation capabilities in our aseptic production. In this context, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to unlock insights from our manufacturing data footprint through sound analysis and development of decision-making tools across the global manufacturing network. Join us in spearheading the digital revolution in manufacturing analytics and visualization. Your expertise will shape the future of our global manufacturing network.
The position
As our new Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping the production sites with making sense of real-time data of multiple types (e.g. PLC, MES, information systems, retrofitted sensors, cameras). To succeed in this position, you need to be able to translate business needs and business logic to data, analytics, code/queries materialized into user-friendly dashboards and applications for the shopfloor. It will be key that you can combine understanding of manufacturing processes, code development skills and an analytical mindset with good communication and collaboration skills with your stakeholders from various departments. Your primary tasks will be to: Collaborate with Aseptic Production (AP) stakeholders (operators, engineers, technicians, local data teams etc.) to translate business problems into automated insights from data
Develop, implement and maintain real-time data dashboards for the shop-floor
Conduct advanced analytics to optimise operations and solve business problems
Engage with local stakeholders to identify business needs and business logic
Drive technical community around implemented solutions across sites
Moreover, you will work both in a dedicated project/product team and individually, depending on the task at hand. Occasionally, you can expect to be involved in one-off analysis for decision-making e.g., estimation of business impact, prioritization of projects/features and business case input. In this role, up to 20 days of international travels per year can be expected. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: MSc Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or similar field
At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. The ideal candidate has a software developer background combined with a couple of years of experience close to line of business
Experience with manufacturing and/or the pharmaceutical/medical industry will be an advantage
Knowledge of: SQL querying and Python as well as Grafana, Dash or similar time-series dashboards will be needed
Professional proficiency in English
On a personal level, you are very structured and transparent around work planning and progress. You are flexible, proactive, self-driven and team oriented. You are eager to learn, and you are curious of nature. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
About the department
Your new team, Aseptic Production Manufacturing Intelligence (AP MI), is dedicated to developing, piloting, and scaling digital and smart factory solutions for the aseptic production within IFP (Injectable Finished Products).
