We are co-located in an entrepreneurial and collaborative work-space at our Digital Transformation Office in Bjerringbro, Denmark, with the ambition of undertaking the most intelligent digital transformation within the industry. About your new team
You will join an international team of developers with high digital ambitions. The team consists of 30 talented colleagues, who are on a mission to create the best solutions. The project is heading towards full implementation, and your emphasis will be on developing the system backend. There will be a degree of architecture work in your daily tasks, but your primary focus will be on general software development and programming. You will closely with 6-9 colleagues in a cross-functional scrum team setup based on SAFe.

About the role
As our backend developer, you will be working with methods such as microservices, Eventsourcing, CQRS and Defensive programming. Our preferred development language is C# on .NET Core. Our platform is based on Microsoft’s Azure Cloud including the IoT Hub and Device SDK, who is also a close collaboration partner. The platform collects pump data from intelligent sensors in real time and synthesize it to empower smart pumps to help predict, prevent, and react to water issues. By using the IoT Hub to remotely perform command and control tasks and update the firmware in the pumps and gateways, you contribute to developing a full end-to-end IoT solution.

- You hold a master’s degree in software development or similar
- You have experience in C# and .NET Core
- You understand the principles of cloud development like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud and know of Microservices, Eventsourcing and CQRS
- You have excellent English skills – verbally and in writing - and are eager to learn
- Preferably, you have experience within TDD and modern DevOps principles.
