Novo Nordisk now invests DKK 150 million establishing a new production line in Kalundborg for packaging of tablets – the latest within diabetes care in Novo Nordisk. With this expansion, we will play an even more important role in manufacturing of the products of the future – and you have the chance to join us.

We have two open positions; One permanent and one temporary for 24 months.

About the team

Become a part of Novo Nordisk diabetes care manufacturing of finished products, counting more than 6,000 employees across seven production sites and five countries. We are the final but very important link in the values chain, before the finished products can be shipped to patients all over the world. In finished product sections in Kalundborg, our 250 employees are responsible for assembly and packaging of diabetes products on our fully automated productionlines.
The team consists of 18 IT & Automation colleagues who provide daily support to the production, within IT & Automation. The main tasks for the team are to support the production, ensure lifecycle management on our IT & Automation equipment and improve IT & Automation related processes.

The Position

You will be involved in a broad variety of tasks and projects across the team. Primarily you will be a part of our IT/Automation support, which key activities is to avoid IT/Automation related stops on our production lines. You will be part of our IT/Automation on call duty. Approximately every 7th week you will be on call, dependant on how many employees are a part of the on-call duty. Training on supporting our production lines, will be our/your primary focus in the beginning of the employment. Furthermore, we are currently implementing a new tool to support our IT support function, and you will be a part of this implementation. You will also be engaged in various data analyses and automation/digitalization tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a relevant academic education and with passion for IT & Automation, manufacturing processes and LEAN. You have GMP-knowledge that enables you to understand which impact changes can have on documentation and SOPs. Experience with process optimization and packaging lines are preferable, but not conclusive.

You can communicate easy in both Danish and English.

As a person you possess at drive to work independently, are not afraid to consult colleagues/experts and are able to change track when findings show that it makes sense. You thrive with analytical tasks and have a sharp eye for details. We expect candidates to thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude. Finally, you have a good sense of humour.
