If you have experience with implementing Operational Technology solutions, solid knowledge of the various technologies used in the OT layer, and experience with Cloud-based solutions, you can be our future colleague implementing global OT solutions across Novo Nordisk.
We are hiring OT Solution architect to support our journey transforming our OT/Automation landscape from local systems to global systems.
About the department
You will be part of Manufacturing IT, who is responsible for planning and execution of large-scale initiatives/programmes across Novo Nordisk Production facilities worldwide. You will be anchored in Department Operational Technology. Our focus is to drive strategic initiatives by delivering OT/Automation solutions and services for production facilities across Novo Nordisk.
The team is located in Denmark and consist of IT/OT Subject Matter Experts and Project Managers and is characterised by international environment, innovation, quality mindset and trust based working environment.
We are working with multiple technologies and methods to develop and maintain modern SCADA platforms, implement process control system solutions, build IT/OT knowledge (organisation, stakeholders, processes), create and manage shared codes and library, collect, harmonise and distribute data, specify and implement modern solutions (MQTT, Containers, Cloud), ensure architecture fit, upgrade existing SCADA/DCS systems and finally integrate SCADA/DCS.
The position
On a senior level, your responsibilities will include support to our projects/initiatives with technical investigations and preparation of specifications, architecture and software development. You will drive technical trouble shooting and implementation of updates, dialogue with vendors and Line of Business and stay ahead on industry trends and assess new products and technologies.
Our projects will be executed in Agile project Setup, so look forward to a dynamic project community where you also can foresee travel activity to vendors and production sites placed in France, Brazil, US, Denmark and others.
Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree (or similar) within IT/OT, and you have a high passion for working in an international environment with a high focus on creating business value for Novo Nordisk Production units worldwide. You have an open mindset and good interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders.
You have documented experience with control systems:
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
- Programable logic controllers (PLC’s)
- Historians and relational Databases
- Distributed Control systems (DCS)
- Risk and Security analysis for control systems.
IoT & Cloud Industrial solutions (collecting, managing and delivering data) experience is an advantage.
You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.
