Front end coding in agile and scrum-based environment
Basically, your job is to make milestonesys.com the best place to visit for customers and partners and the most intuitive and well-functioning place for our content editor colleagues to deliver content. You will play your important role in this mission by delivering good readable code in high quality. Some of your projects could be optimizing of performance for visitors in countries with poor data networks or development of plug and play modules with auto system sync to be used by the content editors. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Code front end solutions in JavaScript and CSS
- Build understanding of .Net and MVC that is the foundation for our CMS
- Participate in the agile scrum based full development lifecycle – from initial refinement throughout test, deployment and support
- Bring your ideas to the table and be eager to learn new stuff and develop your skills

Team worker with good CSS and JavaScript skills
To succeed in this position (and in Milestone in general), you must thrive on creating results via close and constructive collaboration. As you will be part of a truly international team and have colleagues from all over the world, you must bring an open mind and see the value in different perspectives to a task at hand. You will also need a structured way of working and be able to see the bigger picture –does your code/solution fit in and support smooth transitions/inter actions between systems etc.? Additionally, your CV comprises:
- A university degree in computer science or equivalent
- Hands-on experience from working with CSS and JavaScript (Vue.js and vanilla) – can be from a student job
- Some knowledge of C# and ASP.Net
- Motivation for developing your skills within Git, Azure Devops and Optimizely (formerly EPiServer) our CMS system
- Good English skills, written and spoken
