About the department
Trial Data Management is responsible for ensuring the many systems we use for collecting data for our trials are correctly linked so that there is a proper and timely flow of data to our Clinical Data Warehouse. Our department is working closely with various parts of the organisation and clinical operations in Headquarter and in our affiliates as well as with external partners.
Trial Data Management is a part of Global Development. In Global Development we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. We work in global project teams with focus on delivering viable products that make a difference to patients and ultimately benefit society.
The workplace will be our office building in Søborg.
The position
We are seeking several new colleagues to join our team as Clinical Trial Data Manager. We are looking for colleagues with different levels of experience and the candidate’s level of experience will be matched with the right level of responsibility and title. As Clinical Trial Data Manager or Senior Clinical Trial Data Manager you will be responsible for ensuring data management deliverables for our clinical trials are met on time and at a high quality. You will coordinate data management activities through trial planning, trial set-up, execution and closure as well as supervise and evaluate the Data Management processes throughout the life cycle of the project, using your expertise as Data Manager.
Working closely with other Data Management colleagues from around the globe as well as being an integral part of the trial team is an important part of the role. You will act as the bridge between our clinical operations stakeholders and data management colleagues involved in the clinical trials.
Development of methods and processes as well as knowledge sharing is a continuous and on-going activity in Novo Nordisk, especially based on the initiative of us as employees. Qualifications
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within IT, Natural Sciences or another relevant degree. You have good project planning and project management skills and know how to communicate and work with data at various levels of complexity. You know how to keep the overview, present results and coordinate projects and you communicate difficult technical items in an understandable language. You can work independently, take on responsibility and show initiative.
We expect you are able to oversee several tasks in parallel without compromising on the quality of your work and remain high spirited when challenges appear and in times of high work load.
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry including GCP knowledge is preferable and experience of working with relational databases and commercial software applications such as Oracle Clinical is an advantage in this position.
Additionally, you are fluent in English, both written as well as spoken and have the desire to work in an international environment and some travelling can be expected.
