Then, read further as we are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join our Business Analysis function and support decision making in the entire Clinical Drug Development organisation. The position As Senior Power BI Developer,you will be responsible for developing our new dashboards used for all operational and management decisions supporting an organisation with more than 4500 employees across the global clinical development organisation. At our team, we use state-of-the-art technology stack and processes in developing Power BI reports. Stand-alone semantic models are at the center of our development flow. We use Tabular editor 3, Git and Azure DevOps. Rich set of automations checks models against robust set of best-practice rules. We set up three isolated environments in our workflow to ensure proper flow of feature development and testing. You will be joining a team at a cutting edge of best practices and technologies of Power BI development! The BI tool enables time travel on both actual and planned data across our source systems which ultimately will enable ML/AI models to be applied for decision-making. The vision is to create a single version of global data to improve informed decision-making both for strategic leadership decisions as well as operational decisions taken by the individual trial teams. Another important aspect of the role is to support management by creating transparency and analysis for informed decision-making. In this connection, we expect you can turn complex analysis and data into clear conclusions and easy-to-understand dashboards. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you have: Master’s degree or bachelor in data science, software engineering, IT or equivalent. 3-10 years of experience within Power BI, Power Platform and Python. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience with the AI and ML tools within Power BI and/or UX experience will be an advantage. Fluency in written and oral English. As a person you are outgoing, self-driven, ambitious, analytical, a good communicator, and function well in a dynamic global environment. Above skills are of major importance in establishing a strong collaboration with the project organisation based on mutual trust and to be considered as a value adding business partner. You have strong business acumen and enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds. About the department Clinical Drug Development is the Novo Nordisk area responsible for the global clinical research and project management of our clinical products in development. It is a complex environment with many clinical projects in our development portfolio. Transparency and in-depth analysis on global clinical performance, capacity and cost management is of high importance to us. You will be part of a Business Analysis function supporting the global clinical development organisation.
