The positionAs a Deal Coordinator, you will report directly to the Director of Deal Sourcing and will be expected to support the Department in driving deals from its initial scouting towards Signing. The new Deal Coordinator should expect to: · Support our Project Teams in driving deals on behalf of PSQIT from its initial scouting towards due diligence, signing and finally hand-over to integration. · Facilitate workshops with various stakeholders internally at Novo Nordisk, to design the strategic rationale and value story for potential acquisitions. · Prepare management reports to the senior management of Novo Nordisk. · Help driving our global Search and Evaluation of production capacity opportunities. · Engage with, and expand, our external stakeholder network of top-tier corporate finance advisors and management consultancies, to ensure Novo Nordisk establishes a well-known M&A reputation in the market for global manufacturing capacity. · Help Deal Sourcing enhance the overall M&A readiness across the organization. QualificationsThe ideal candidate should have strong stakeholder management capabilities and an understanding of the interlink between business and strategy. Experience within M&A and regulated industries is an advantage but not required: · A relevant MSc degree with strong results. · 0-1 years of M&A experience, preferably in a regulated industry. · Experience with facilitating workshops towards actionable outcomes. · Experience in preparing decision material to senior stakeholders within complex organizations. · A proven track-record of strong stakeholder management capabilities. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders. On a personal level you have high level of integrity, are openminded and curious, and are therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You have a can-do attitude and enjoy working according to tight deadlines. You are a team player, a fast learner with an ability to drive change, and you utilize your relationships with stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks.In Novo Nordisk, we value diversity among our employees. About The DepartmentYou will join the Deal Sourcing department placed under Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT) Business Integration. Our mission is to strengthen the production capacity at Novo Nordisk through M&A, while also enhancing the overall M&A readiness of the company. Within Deal Sourcing, we specialize in the Search and Evaluation of potential acquisition opportunities on a global scale as well as driving the deals from initial scouting towards Signing of a transaction.Deal Sourcing is one of out of three departments within PSQIT Business Integration, who collectively consists of +15 dedicated colleagues. PSQIT Business Integration is organized to cover the entire M&A lifecycle, covering Deal Sourcing, Due Diligence, and Integration. Our mission is to scout potential acquisitions, conduct due diligence, and seamlessly integrate these into Novo Nordisk to support driving change to fight diabetes and other serious chronic diseases such as severe obesity and rare blood and endocrine diseases.
