We are looking for a self-driven individual who thrives in a complex and changing environment and who can bring a structured execution to the sourcing of Freelancer Services. The position In Corporate Procurement, we have a leading and innovative approach to sourcing Freelancer Services at scale across Novo Nordisk. The areas include app & software development, translation, copywriting, data visualization & analytics, science and engineering, management consulting, UX and graphic and potential for more. The ambition is to maximize sustainable valuable creation and achieve savings via use of freelancers at scale. The role spans across executing on tactical activities, maintaining, and developing key internal customer relationships, and be part of scaling the sourcing of freelancers in Novo Nordisk. You will be actively developing the sourcing of Freelance Services together with the dedicated team. You will also work globally to roll out the services across Novo Nordisk’s value chain. It is therefore a unique opportunity to join a global world-class procurement function, develop recognized impact and skills, and gain strong insights into the stakeholders and business in Novo Nordisk. Your responsibilities will include: Manage project pipeline including request forms and account management Engage in projects when needed to facilitate project progress and support internal customers (e.g., engage with internal customers and suppliers to align deliverables) Drive and develop internal customer relationships with structured stakeholder management and expectation alignment Drive collaborations and deliverables between Corporate Procurement, functions, business units and external suppliers Develop and manage internal communication with HQ functions and / or regional and affiliates Scale and expand programme scope in terms of both Freelancer Services suppliers and internal customers (e.g., identify and qualify new scope opportunities) Support in supplier relationship management and selection Our Professional Services & Travel Team drive world class categories & sourcing optimization and suppliers within Management Consulting, Financial Services, Legal Services, HR Services, Travel, Fleet & Ground Transportation, Freelancer Platform Services and more, to enable our business and provide strong impact. This job will provide you the opportunity to launch your carrier in Novo Nordisk with a global exposure. Qualifications You have completed a relevant master’s degree in business administration, entrepreneurship and innovation or supply chain management, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience. We imagine that you are at the beginning of your career with 1-3 years of relevant experience in e.g., project management, procurement, business development or marketing, preferably from an international organization. To succeed in this role, you bring strong data analysis skills and an ability to structure your findings into useful outcomes. You have an international mindset and strong communication skills. In the role you will interact with international stakeholders and suppliers on a regular basis, therefore it is important that you work fluently in English. As a person, you are ambitious, want to develop, and are open to giving and receiving feedback. You are curious, self-driven and can deliver results independently. About the department Corporate Procurement is anchored with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk. We build strategies and execute improvement projects to optimize the global indirect spend of DKK 40 billion related to, e.g., R&D activities, Marketing Services, Travel, Professional Advisory Services, IT and digitalization. We consist of 120 employees based in Denmark, 140 employees in India, and globally 500 people work in procurement.
