We are looking for a Senior Manager & CoE Lead, Indirect Procurement, to join Novo Nordisk International Operations, Strategic Operations (IO-SO), based in Denmark. This position reports to the Senior Director, IO Procurement, and will join a diverse team of passionate and likeminded professionals.
The Position
In this exiting role, you will lead the Meetings and Events (M&E) Centre of Excellence team and set the strategic direction together with senior stakeholders. Your tasks would include:

We are looking for a Senior Manager & CoE Lead, Indirect Procurement, to join Novo Nordisk International Operations, Strategic Operations (IO-SO), based in Denmark. This position reports to the Senior Director, IO Procurement, and will join a diverse team of passionate and likeminded professionals.
The Position
In this exiting role, you will lead the Meetings and Events (M&E) Centre of Excellence team and set the strategic direction together with senior stakeholders. Your tasks would include:
- Create M&E CoE community and ensure strong functional set-up with close link to M&E and Procurement colleagues
- Priorisation of strategic initiatives and follow-through with M&E CoE and regional Procurement Heads
- Development of M&E CoE set-up, ensuring continuity and business excellence
- Implementation of M&E SMM tool Cvent across IO
- Alignment with senior stakeholders across regions and functions
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include:
- Gather information related to procurement from the seven regions across IO to create management presentations for business review meetings, organisational development planning and other ad-hoc requests
- Organise and facilitate procurement meetings and follow-up meeting action points in collaboration with stakeholders from within and outside of the procurement function
- Act as a key connector, ensuring alignment across our seven regions on projects and responsibilities, supporting in the implementation of global and cross-regional projects
- Identify opportunities across the business to further optimise the process as well as building a strong relationship with Line of Business, bringing a fresh perspective on established processes by challenging the status quo
- Influence departments and functional results as well as direct contribution to bottom line result through cost savings

Qualifications
We imagine that you have been working within indirect procurement on an international level for several years. Furthermore, you have:
- Solid business understanding and value chain insights from your past experience working in operations, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong experience with sourcing processes including supplier negotiations, category strategies etc.
- A high level of analytical skills as well as data driven approach and mindset
- Strong leadership skills within project management and a cross-functional collaboration setting
