The position
As Supply Manager, your main responsibility is to manage the global supply chain on contract production of components for medical devices through our suppliers.
Some of your daily tasks include:
Main activities are driven out of Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) in Hillerød, while some international travels to suppliers are to be expected (approximately 20 days per year).

As a person, you have a strong drive and you enjoy setting direction. You are able to prioritise among your tasks and plan ahead. It motivates you to continuously look for ways to improve and optimise how we manage our supply chain. As you will be dealing with a lot of different stakeholders, internal as well as external, it is essential that you enjoy creating and maintaining relations within all levels of the organisation and that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are also skilled at presenting complex information and decision material in a simple and clear manner. You thrive in working in an international environment.
About the department
You will join the Device Manufacturing and Sourcing (DMS) Supply Chain department in Hillerød, where 65 colleagues look forward to welcoming you. We ensure the supply of a large number of components produced world-wide for our Novo Nordisk A/S factories. We are also responsible for the suppliers’ ability to deliver on time, in full, to the right quality, and at the right cost.

The position
As Supply Manager, your main responsibility is to manage the global supply chain on contract production of components for medical devices through our suppliers.
Some of your daily tasks include:
- act as the anchoring point and direct a range of activities associated with our Supply Chain (such as Planning, Quality, and Process Support).
- be the bridge between Novo Nordisk and our suppliers, taking responsibility for the coordination of operational and tactical actions in collaboration with Planning, Project Office, Strategic Sourcing, and Device Manufacturing Development.
- bring innovative ideas to improve our processes in order to work smarter and secure the best possible result for Novo Nordisk.
- ensure stable and reliable supply while continuously improving the performance and collaboration with the suppliers.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- hold a Master degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, Manufacturing, or any other similar field.
- be familiar with plastic moulding and have a continuous improvement mindset
- have at least 5 years of stakeholder and supplier management experience
- be proficient with Excel and have an analytical mindset which allows you to simplify data to forecast demands and present supplier performance reviews to management teams.
- be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
