The position
You will be a part of Global Prevention and Health Promotion, Cities Changing Diabetes (www.citieschangingdiabetes.com) where you will support project managers in the Cities Changing Diabetes program in day-to-day business processes and tasks.

Qualifications
You are currently studying for your Master’s degree in Global Public Health, Economics, Anthropology, Urban Planning, or another relevant field. Enrolment at university within the full period is required.
General knowledge of health services research-related disciplines and key methodologies (database analysis, systematic literature reviews, cost analyses, intervention design, and evaluation) are preferred.

About the department
In Global Prevention and Health Promotion, Cities Changing Diabetes (www.citieschangingdiabetes.com) is Novo Nordisk’s global platform to address urban diabetes, including the risk factors in urban areas that lead to the growing rate of people with diabetes and obesity in cities.
After a successful launch in more than 40 cities around the world, we are working to drive the implementation of scientific, communication, and advocacy agendas related to urban diabetes and the prevention of obesity.
In 2022, the key priorities are to drive the program forward in current and new partner cities, capacity building in selected cities, planning of events and masterclasses, and support new pilot projects. This is part of Novo Nordisk’s overall ambition to Defeat Diabetes.

The position
You will be a part of Global Prevention and Health Promotion, Cities Changing Diabetes (www.citieschangingdiabetes.com) where you will support project managers in the Cities Changing Diabetes program in day-to-day business processes and tasks.
In this role, you will work with:
- Developing evidence to address strategic questions
- Team members on ad-hoc analyses
- Communication tasks
- Assisting and planning development implementation of activities such as global campaigns, innovation challenges, and public health interventions
Practicalities:
- Internship period: 6 months, enrolment at university within the full period is required
- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Start date: 1 February 2023.
- Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows
- A Danish full-time work permit is required

Qualifications

- Ability to manage a large volume of projects (with supervision)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic with a willingness to take responsibility for your learning
- Strong personal drive and dedication, while service-minded thrive in a busy environment, and keen to bring a can-do attitude
- Fluency in both oral and written English
