Portfolio Manager, Due Diligence and Integration team in DD&IT Do you find Mergers & Acquisitions exciting? And do you thrive in an environment characterized by uncertainty? If yes, then you might be our new Portfolio Manager, to join our newly established Due Diligence & Integrations team in DD&IT The position As our new Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for driving the overall plan for the Due Diligence and Integration projects in close collaboration with the M&A Director. In this role you will be supporting the Project Directors and Project Managers in the planning of activities related to the future acquisitions. Other responsibilities include: Creating status reports to relevant Sounding Boards, Management groups and the Integration Management Office (IMO) Being the contact to the delievery teams in GITO and other areas in the DD&IT organisation, ie. Understanding the agile cadence and ensure coordination across the different teams. Ensuring that learnings from the Due Diligence and Integration projects we participate in are being captured in the M&A Playbook for Novo Nordisk IT integrations. Coordinating and onboarding of external resources and have the overview of capacity, dependencies and risks and ensure to drive the development of timely RAID reporting (Risk, Action, Issues and Decision log) Skills we are looking for As an ideal candidate, you have: A master’s degree in Business, IT or another relevant field A couple of years of experience as working as a Portfolio Manager or part of a PMO, preferably in large complex organisations. It’s a plus if you have been exposed to M&A but not a requirement. Deep knowledge in the phases of traditional Project Management, as well as agile ways of working Good understanding in the importance of flexibility and change management to succeed with your ideas and to deliver on the project plan. On a personal level, you are a team player and can build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders on all levels of an organisation. You can work independently and thrive in a busy and global environment where priorities change, and fast decisions are needed to move on. Success in this role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels. About the department: The position is based in GITO (Global IT Operations) - an area with ~450 employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our infrastructure operations, CLOUD Services and digital workplace. The Portfolio Manager will report to the Strategy Director of Strategy & Transformation, also leading the Due Diligence and Integration team. Strategy & Transformation is a team of ~25 highly skilled and dedicated employees, responsible for driving the strategy and supporting the agile delivery engine in GITO, as well as securing the processes around Due Diligence & Integration of future acquisitions.
