As Department Assistant your key area of responsibility will be to support the Biostatistics Managers in Søborg. You will support the departments with a wide range of tasks including planning, preparing, optimising, and following up on a wide range of administrative tasks and processes across the department. You will be working with:
  • Planning and scheduling meetings as well as following up on action plans
  • Onboard internal and external colleagues
  • Coordinate activities and calendars as well as book and coordinate events, conferences, and seminars
  • Support and drive various projects within the department
  • Internal and external communication
  • Furthermore, you will collaborate with many different internal and external stakeholders. You will have frequent interactions with other assistants throughout the organisation and you will be an active member of the Biostatistics administrative group in a warm and welcoming environment, where you will solve cross-organisational tasks and contribute to a fun and friendly workplace.     We are looking for you, who are service-minded, passionate, and eager to take ownership of diverse assignments ranging from administrative tasks to independent coordination and follow-up. We imagine that you:
  • Have an administrative or similar background within business administration or have experience from a similar role would be an asset, but most importantly you enjoy the administrative role and are eager to learn and further develop your skills.
  • Can communicate effortlessly, both verbally and written, in English at a business level
  • Have great IT skills, you quickly pick up new software skills, and you have extensive experience with Microsoft 365 and the interconnected functionalities.
  • Furthermore, you are flexible and thrive in a fast-changing environment, with frequently changing priorities and handle this with your sense of urgency, structure, and overview.     Biostatistics is part of leading product development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics. The Global Biostatistics function consists of more than 400 statisticians and statistical programmers globally with more than 200 employees located in Denmark. Biostatistics has two sites in Denmark, one in Søborg and one in Aalborg.
