The position Your main responsibility will be to drive significant improvements in the PM processes for a team of 18 Project Managers. The processes are in different maturity and shape, you will have the opportunity to build and drive the efficiencies that impact the project portfolio of the entire DDS portfolio, i.e. all device projects in Novo Nordisk. In this position, you will:
  • Monitor the PM processes and prioritize needs for improvement
  • Suggest concrete ways for improvement and ensure their implementation
  • Communicate with different stakeholders within the organisation to understand their needs and drive change
  • Assess the changes that need to be done and identify their impact on the business
  • Select and implement the right tools
  • Follow-up with stakeholders to ensure that the projects are running smoothly
  • Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a master’s degree
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and process improvements, preferably within the life science industry
  • Be a successful facilitator and natural talent for understanding and simplifying processes
  • Have a track record driving change and optimisations with multiple stakeholders and significant complexity
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Certification within PM is considered an advantage (preferably PMI) as well as knowledge of Lean methodologies
  • As a person, you are known for being a team-player, but you also enjoy working independently. You are curious and thrive in working in an innovative, technical, and regulated environment. You understand the business needs and translate them into operational actions. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator and change agent, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. About the department Device Project management is part of Devices & Delivery Solutions, which is responsible for the development of medical devices for disease self-treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. The projects that we manage range from pure mechanical medical devices through combination products (drug/device) to devices with connectivity that are integrated into a digital health solution system. We have a long and outstanding track record of developing the best, most innovative, and widely used injection devices in the world, and our projects are on the forefront of technology to meet real user needs for the benefit of people with different chronic diseases. The team consists of Project Managers responsible for managing the device part of all the projects and we have a close collaboration with the engineering part of our organisation as well as with the Program Managers who interact with the drug development within Novo Nordisk.
