The position
As Programme Procurement Director, you are part of the Leadership Team for the area and part of the Programme Management Office. You will report to the head of the Fill-Finish Expansion Programme (FFEx) PMO. You and your department will work closely with production sites and projects across the globe to standardize, design, and build the future factories of Novo Nordisk, using the concept of “design one, build many”.
Furthermore, you have the overall responsibility of establishing, organizing, and managing the procurement processes across the FFEx SVP area. Your task is to establish procurement processes and standards and implement them across all the projects in the programme.
Your main tasks include: Responsible developing and maintaining for FFEx overall procurement strategy Establish and oversee efficient and solid engineering sourcing and procurement Work in close collaboration with NN central procurement and sourcing functions to secure effective procurement processes are in operation and that sufficient procurement support processes are in place Directing and leading the work to set standards across FFEx to procure efficiently in an organized environment between partners and systems. Responsible for developing and maintaining FFEx overall procurement and contract management strategy and embedding in all relevant contracts. Managing major key contracts in FFEx programme, e.g. centrally purchased equipment contracts Qualifications
Ideally, you have the following qualifications or similar: Significant experience from leading procurement work at several complex projects or programmes of large-scale facilities from beginning to end with a wide range of internal- and external stakeholders. You can understand the impact of company strategies, and actively participate in implementing these into all areas of the project Proven ability to shape and execute strategies in complex environments while providing clear goals and purpose to facility areas and project teams, driving effective resource utilization and enhancing employee motivation. Successfully led larger and complex global GxP investment projects or programmes within construction Preferably pharmaceutical manufacturing process insights As a person, you are an effective communication. You have developed and lead high performing teams and have the ability and experience to motivate highly skilled professionals and experts. You are exceptionally good at creating good stakeholder relations.

You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions factories of Novo Nordisk by leading our newly established Programme Procurement department. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 25,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 55,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our fill & finish facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for the future, designing facilities we will still be proud of many decades from now.
