As Senior Engineering Project Manager you will be leading a work package in the project. This includes both process and mechanical. you will be responsible for a Work Package Owner for the planned expansion of our API production facilities in Hillerød.
This strategic investment is planned as a multibillion green field project and has high attention from Novo Nordisk’s Senior Management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Ensure deliverables to engineering partner from work package team
• Guarantee good collaboration with engineering partner and your team
• Secure timely deliverables from all parties in collaboration with engineering partner
• Good stakeholder management internally and externally especially with other work package teams
• Defend that scope/time and economy are on track with vendors in collaboration with procurement management and engineering partner
This project will give you the scope to be involved in a new, high-profile green field project where you will have the opportunity to be involved in shaping a new department.

Qualifications
The qualifications we value will include:
• Academic degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or another relevant field within pharmaceutical sciences
• Extensive experience working with project management with larger technical Capex projects specifically within Pharma and/or Biotech
• Driving the work package from design through commissioning and validation is key to the role as well as keeping close collaboration with vendors, engineering partners and internal stakeholders
• Good understanding for the technical part of the work package
• Fluent, spoken, and written in English and preferably Danish
• Excellent communication skills, and experience of working cross functionally while building relations with stakeholders at all organisational levels As a professional you are working independently, you thrive driving initiatives and have a forward-thinking outlook. Join us at 25L API Capacity Expansion and become a part of one of Novo Nordisk’s most significant expansion projects, embedded in Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD). In BRD, we are building a new API production facility in Hillerød that will employ around 340 colleagues. The highly automated production facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products.
We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and including cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. It will also expand our portfolio of clinical late phase products and increase our capacity to serve more people living with rare disease and serious chronic diseases.
