Associate Maintenance Manager

The position Your role as our new Associate Maintenance Manager will see you working in our expanding Operation and Maintenance department in Hillerød. Together with your team you will join in taking responsibility for our portfolio of black utilities in the 7-8 facilities on site, such as cooling, heat, compress air, steam, process water, power, emergency power etc. Focus is to ensure high operational stability. You will manage a team of around 10 employees (Marine Engineers and technicians) focusing on amongst others empowerment, personal development and learning, balancing stability and change around the team, supporting a healthy and engaging working environment. You will report to the Senior Manager of the department. Your main responsibilities include to: • Drive stable utility operations • Drive engagement, motivation and team development within department and amongst relevant stakeholders • Optimize and expand maintenance concepts across line of business areas through high degree of stakeholder integration and professional capabilities • Participate in authority inspections and audits from (e.g. FDA, EMA, etc.) as well as p romote an agenda focusing on technological innovations and continuous improvements • Commit to and engage in our green improvements supporting ‘Circular for Zero’ at your responsibility areas • Secure stability in daily operations along supporting change initiatives taking place around the team, e.g. changes deriving from Novo Nordisk expansion We consider Associate Maintenance Manager to thrive in a complex stakeholder environment and drive communication and interact on various organisational levels, including presenting investment plans and business cases to higher management levels. In Hillerød we are expanding our department. Our new Associate Maintenance Manager will play a key role in ensuring stability and preparing for future utility demands in close collaboration with key stakeholders and other line of business areas. Navigating the team through the rapid growth of site Hillerød will be a key priority. Qualifications To be successful in this role you hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, Bachelor of Technology, Marine Engineering or equivalent. In addition to that, you have: • Experience in being a people leader / manager • Minimum 5 years of operational experience within utilities to a pharmaceutical production or other facility requiring critical utility operation • Previous experience working as an Operational Manager or similar • Hands-on experience and interest with utilities and related IT systems • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish On a personal level we expect you to be calm, communicative and considerate. About the department The department is a part of Corporate Facilities (CFa) covering maintenance, operation and development of facilities across Danish production and R&D sites. We are about 260 colleagues in Bagsværd, Gentofte, Hillerød, Måløv, Søborg and Kalundborg. You will join the team in Hillerød with currently 23 colleagues.
