The newly established Diabetes area is growing, and we are therefore looking for two experienced Project Coordinators to support our Project Managers of Diabetes, one permanent position and one maternity coverage. Join us and you will be working with highly engaged colleagues, every one of whom are dedicated to creating better treatments and care for patients with diabetes. The position As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for planning, optimising, and tracking a range of project activities. You will join the project management team and work closely with the Project Vice President and the Global Project Team. Your job function will be to support the project management in driving the project activities towards agreed goals. This involves keeping the project plan updated and tracking and coordinating the budgeting process with challenge of input from functional areas, present to management and ongoing follow-up on project costs. You will arrange project team meetings, information meetings and team events – including preparation of meeting minutes and follow-up on actions. Moreover, it will be your responsibility in collaboration with the Project Vice President to prepare material for upper management meetings, monthly project reports and communication material such as slides, pre-reading and newsletters and maintain the project communication platform.
Qualifications Our ideal candidate has experience within the pharmaceutical industry and project management, where you have worked with budgeting and been part of a multi-cultural team. You have a business education, bachelor’s degree or similar. You are a skilled user of various IT systems including Microsoft 365 and you are fluent in oral and written English.
It is important that you can manage deadlines and work with multiple and frequently changing priorities using good collaboration skills and a sense of humour. You are good at problem-solving, working independently and proactively in a busy environment, and have a broad overview as well as a sense for details. About the department
The Diabetes project management area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development under our Development organisation and located in Søborg. We are overall responsible for an exciting pipeline of clinical development programmes targeting people with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes – including clinical testing in humans from phase 1 through phase 3 and phase 4. We collaborate closely across many skill areas and together we all contribute with our high level of expertise.
