The position
As Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the strategic development of Sourcing Operations. You will work closely with different management teams and global stakeholders across Sourcing Operations, which is why it is important that you have a global mindset, handle changes well and possess strong presentation and communications skills.
The key responsibilities are: Drive SoOp (Sourcing Operations) Business Plan deployment all the way from top mgmt. to employees at shopfloor Provide recommendations for strategy development, Business Plan and Strategy Drive strategic analyses of key business opportunities and challenges Driver of process around SoOp Business Review Meetings, performance management and Strategy to Action Project Manager on cross functional projects with strategic impact (no people manager responsibility) A large part of the objectives that are set can be met only by developing or implementing innovative approaches to strategic challenges. Therefore, we expect you to bring innovative ideas, surfacing opportunities and providing recommendations based on business and organisational insights. This is a perfect opportunity to use your entrepreneurial mindset to get involved and contribute to developing and creating the role based on your visions. Qualifications You hold a master’s degree within a relevant field. Preferably, you have around 4-6 years of experience within consulting, finance, supply chain, management support or similar. Ideally, you come from the management consultancy industry or have been working with business development or project management. However, your educational background and experience is less important, we value personality and the right mindset higher. To succeed in the role, you need: Strong analytical skills Strong presentation skills Ability to handle many tasks at the same time Ability to handle high complexity in tasks Able to work independently You are motivated by identifying business opportunities, creating high-class solutions, and challenging status quo. We expect you to have the confident and ability to set directions and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation. You have a sharp eye on detail and a structured approach to solving business challenges. Furthermore, you are flexible and thrive when working in a high pace environment, managing several tasks at the same time. With a professional and open approach, you build strong relations with stakeholders at all levels, both cross functionally and internationally. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on a strategic level with senior management. Finally, to succeed in this role, you need the ability to communicate in a clear and assertive manner (also in front of a senior audience) and use your creativity to create storylines in presentations that mediate the bridge between supply chain and business.

Strategy and Business Development is responsible for driving the strategic development and deployment of Sourcing Operations, which is overall responsible for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consist of 400 dedicated employees.
