About the department
Regulatory Affairs (RA) CMC & Device consists of 260 employees divided between six areas (Diabetes & Obesity, Biotech & Rare Disease, Established Products, Device, Emerging Technologies and Submission Excellence) situated in the headquarter Søborg and Bangalore. The main responsibility of RA CMC & Device is obtaining and maintaining clinical trial application and marketing authorisations worldwide for all products and devices in the Novo Nordisk pipeline.

The position
As our new Assistant, you will report directly to the VP of RA Biotech & Rare Disease and support him in all administrative tasks to ensure efficiency in his day-to-day movements. You will be a member of the Leadership team and secure a smooth running and coordination of meetings both on- and off-site. Above all, you will work intuitively to ensure the needs of the VP whilst also working autonomously to provide excellent administrative support.

Your key tasks will be:
• Executive support: Manage VP calendar, prioritise meetings and manage travel.
• Responsible for coordinating internal staff and leadership meetings, liaising with external consultants and stakeholders across departments.
• Help with the budget process for the area.
• Coordinating seminars with the rest of the administrative team.
• Responsible for keeping documentation, mailboxes, etc. updated.
• Help with social media, communication and set up presentations in collaboration with VP

Furthermore, you will support with day-to-day ad hoc task and problem-solving including acting as sparring partner as needed. You will act as cultural role model and contact person for RA Biotech & Rare Disease internally in Novo Nordisk.

The position is based in Søborg, Denmark and as a natural part of the position, you will have global interaction on a daily basis.

Qualifications
To be a success in this role, you should have strong organisational and proactive planning skills. You have a good sense of diplomacy whilst still assertive and able to create team spirit. Furthermore, we imagine that you:
• Have a solid administrative background with several years of experience from a similar position.
• Have vast experience in interacting with key stakeholders, including working with senior management.
• Can communicate effortlessly in English, both written and verbally.
• Take pleasure in being an essential part of a team and consistently acting as a team player on a daily basis as you will be an integral part of an administrative group. It is considered an advantage if you possess:
• Solid business understanding
• Flair for IT-systems as well as Social Media content
• Strong accounting skills

On a personal level you are curious, well-organised and a proactive problem solver as well good in put ideas in place. You enjoy working across an organisation and interacting with people with different expertise and at different levels. Last but not least, you have a healthy sense of humor, and you commit yourself at all levels of the organization and take pride in maintaining the confidentiality that is a given considering the nature of the position.
