Global IT Vestas Solutions Enterprise Platforms SAP Platform
The Enterprise Platform Team is part of Vestas Global IT, covering the SAP platform (SAP development and SAP Basis), where we run & manage 120+ SAP systems, APP & API where we develop and run more than 100 Apps and 800 interfaces, User Experience will assist capturing business requirements and ensure adoption of solution. Test and Release management across all IT functions is also a part of the team.
Responsibilities
This is a split role, where you will do hands on development, guide and distribute tasks to our external partner, participate in our future S/4 journey, but also secure our governance and guidelines. And you are also to explore new capabilities and technologies with SAP Development across our full SAP landscape. Furthermore, you will:

This is a split role, where you will do hands on development, guide and distribute tasks to our external partner, participate in our future S/4 journey, but also secure our governance and guidelines. And you are also to explore new capabilities and technologies with SAP Development across our full SAP landscape. Furthermore, you will:
- Govern, describe, and develop our SAP Development Guidelines and Code Review processes in collaboration with your colleagues in the SAP Development Team
- Describe and supervise development done by 3rd party contractors
- Take part in an approval board that makes sure the solutions are up to the Vestas standard
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new solutions to ensure high performance and quality that are sustainable, scalable, and easy to maintain
Qualifications
- Have at least 6-8 years of experience with SAP ABAP development and knowledge of general SAP development tools
- Experience with UI5, Fiori, OData, (New S/4 extensions, like CDS-views etc. is beneficial)
- B.Sc. in Computer Engineering / Computer Science, or other background of similar relevance
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Experience in ABAP optimisation and SQL traces
- Similarity with SAP logistic modules
- ABAP/4 Object programming
- Experience with SAP Hana, SCRUM, SAP BW extractors/queries and java script are beneficial

- Able to contribute effectively to the continuous improvement of the SAP platform
- Persistent and patient with the ability to prioritise - also in a time-sensitive situation
