Power Solutions Innovation & Concepts Innovation Management
In Innovation Management we drive innovation projects for Vestas, exploring new solutions within Sustainable energy from early exploration, technical validation to commercial pilots within Power to X and other areas. We are also accountable for market and business analysis within future trends and disruptive energy solutions and for project management of the innovation projects.
In addition, we develop the innovation portfolio including the technology- and innovation roadmap processes. We ensure that we have the sufficient perspective and innovation to secure marketability in the mid and long term.
Finally, we develop professional and competitive innovation processes and capabilities to support a targeted innovation approach. We are a small enthusiastic team who wish to make a difference.
We have a visible "can do" attitude and are not afraid to be different. We are willing to take calculated, technological risks, because giving room to fail is one of the sources for groundbreaking innovations.
Responsibilities
You will report to the Senior Director for Innovation Management and will be part of a group of project managers handling different innovation projects. You will be responsible for promoting new strategic business areas. More specifically, your responsibilities include:

You are motivated in an environment characterised by high intensity and uncertainty, and thrive in a creative but structured work environment where things not always follow a pre-defined line.

Responsibilities
You will report to the Senior Director for Innovation Management and will be part of a group of project managers handling different innovation projects. You will be responsible for promoting new strategic business areas. More specifically, your responsibilities include:
- Accountable for project execution
- Management of project scope, timeline and project budgets and planning - agile planning and execution of innovation projects
- Ensuring entrepreneurial spirit and team culture
- Maintain progress reporting and portfolio governance reporting
- Communication on all levels across the organisation
- Collaboration and highly professional stakeholder management
Qualifications
- You have relevant experience in project management, including certifications e.g. Prince 2 and Agile
- You have relevant experience or theoretical background within business- and technology- development or innovation management
- You have minimum 7 years of experience from a similar position, from either an international organisation or consultancy
- You have experience within the renewable energy sector
- You have experience with technical project management and a commercial mindset
- You have solid experience in communicating with a broad set of stakeholders on all levels.
- You have experience working in an international environment across functions, countries and cultures
