We are currently looking for a project manager to drive procurement related projects, within indirect spend, focusing on implementing new technologies and innovation in our production and drug development areas in Novo Nordisk. About the department
The position are based in the Product Supply Sourcing Team which is part of Corporate Procurement. Corporate Procurement is responsible for the indirect spend in Novo Nordisk and for defining and driving the Global Procurement strategy. Corporate Procurement consists of 140 employees based in Denmark and India, and 500 people work in procurement globally.

Corporate Procurement is anchored with direct report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk.
The position
As part of Product Supply Sourcing, you will join a team of 8+ highly talented and ambitious individuals, consisting of project managers with broad backgrounds in business development, procurement and data analytics. As Project Manager, you will report to the Manager of the team.
In your role, you will take on the responsibility of driving technology and development projects at Diabetes Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (DAPI) in Kalundborg. Kalundborg is a strategic site for Novo Nordisk, with ~3.500 employees responsible for the production of insulin for our patients and currently ~50% of all the insulin in the world comes from here. You will work in close collaboration with the VP of DAPI Business Support and be on site with line of business where you will focus on value-adding activities. You will add value by having an advisor and partnering role driving non-traditional procurement projects, identifying areas of improvement by building business cases and introducing new technologies or rethinking the status quo. You will take the lead in the entire process from identification of opportunities and the actual execution of these, why stakeholder management within multiple organizational layers is key for your success. Recent examples of projects include building and automating spend transparency and outsourcing a non-core activity. You will be responsible for identifying the needs of the business and the projects will therefore depend on the improvement areas you identify, and truly make an impact on the business area.

Qualifications
You have completed a relevant Master's degree and bring 5-7 years of solid professional experience, preferably within procurement, and can demonstrate the ability to develop an operational procurement organisation and/or Indirect Spend in an organization. You may have worked with project management, business development, IT or finance in a leading organisation. Maybe you have previously had your own business or have worked as a consultant Put simply what we are looking for is a self-driven project manager with the passion to drive and take ownership of new projects.
Therefore, we are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mind-set, a strong drive and ability to create results, solve problems and who possess analytical skills. You focus on delivery and quality as well as identifying the right needs for the business. As you will cooperate broadly with many stakeholders, you have excellent collaboration skills and you communicate clearly and concisely. Your stakeholders range from colleagues in line of business to senior management. Finally, it is important that you work fluently in English and Danish.
