About the department

OQCP is part of the area Operations & Staffs Quality (OSQ) in Novo Nordisk Quality. OQCP is an international, high performing team of 12 colleagues (7 in Denmark and 5 in India including a Team Leader), and we are responsible for supporting and overseeing quality and compliance in the affiliates. The role reports to the Vice President, Operations & Staffs Quality (OSQ), Novo Nordisk Quality.

In OQCP we support the local Quality Responsible Persons in affiliates with quality related matters including validation, change control, deviations, training and the control of the quality risks in the storage and delivery of product to our customers. Furthermore, OQCP drives a number of improvement initiatives across Quality in Operations (North America Operations and International Operations).

In OQCP we are focused on ensuring high compliance in the affiliates which ultimately results in safe products for our customers and a good reputation with local authorities. The position

As Director of OQCP you will be safeguarding Patients, Product Quality and Compliance through quality consulting and training activities provided to affiliates worldwide. You will be responsible for timely reporting of any critical compliance concerns to senior management. In addition, you will be responsible for driving a strategic transformation aimed at maximising the value of QMS handling in Operations.

You will lead a team of highly skilled employees who are passionate about working in their specialised field. Your goal is to maintain a qualified team and secure individual development of all employees. Furthermore, you will coach, develop and lead the team Leader of OSQ GBS in India.

You are comfortable being challenged by senior stakeholders in decisions on quality issues. Your high level of personal integrity and robustness enable you to integrate different views in the decision-making process.

Key stakeholders of the OQCP Director are senior management across North America Operations and International Operations and the Novo Nordisk Quality management team.

As part of OSQMgmt you will be responsible for creating and executing on an ambitious value upgrade agenda. You will work closely with your colleagues to break down silos and foster collaboration across business lines.

Qualifications

You hold a master’s degree within natural sciences or other similar. You have experience with handling Quality Management System (QMS) processes from the pharmaceutical industry including an understanding of QMS risks and potential impact on the Business. We expect you to have experience working with strategy and stakeholder management on senior level and across different cultures.

Naturally, you set direction, lead and motivate your team and have strong stakeholder management capabilities. As a person you thrive in a setting with a high level of complexity and have solid problem-solving capabilities.

You have a can-do attitude proactively striving for higher levels of performance not being afraid of being challenged by peers and employees. Great communication skills are a must and you are expected to be fluent in English.
