Key responsibilities


Data is the foundation which will enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Through actionable data, optimized data-driven products and data-driven decision making, we can deliver value to our customers.

As Chief of Staff / Portfolio Leader for the Chief Data Officer, you will be a portfolio and strategy leader, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, organizational management, communications, and culture for the Chief Data Officer and the Global Data and Analytics team. You will partner with Leadership to foster an environment that maximizes productivity and effectiveness, communicate our vision and priorities across the organization, and serve as a strategic advisor, solution-oriented problem solver and steward of data initiatives. Reporting to this position will be portfolio managers and team members to facilitate organizational routines.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a strategic business partner for the Chief Data Officer
• Implement the “CDO Toolkit” across Maersk, including representing the data vision and strategy
• Co-develop roadmaps for global and regional functions to drive adoption of data-driven capabilities and business outcomes
• Develop an automated value and success metric framework to foster continuous improvement methodologies in day-to-day activities (e.g., quality, optimization, automation)
• Lead self-service training and custom workshops encouraging the adoption of data-driven decision making
• Establish and manage leadership meetings to connect stakeholders and disseminate information
• Cascade key Divisional and Consumer messaging to the team
• Manage strategic messaging and communications for internal and external speaking engagements
• Help set the culture and drive engagement of a global organization through events, celebration of wins, and oth-er culture and diversity programs
• Be the customer’s ambassador in various Maersk Senior Executive forums
• Oversee operations and establish routines around critical KPI’s for the CDO organization

We are looking for


• 7+ years’ experience in consulting or technology leadership role, preferably in complex stakeholder settings
• Experience with large-scale change management or organization transformation
• Strong insights and understanding of technology concepts and processes (cloud, operational excellence principles, etc)
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, multitasking and prioritizing multiple time-sensitive initiatives
• Ability to establish partnerships with senior stakeholders
• Ability to consistently exercise discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
• Looks for new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions
