We are looking for a Policy Specialist in our Global Public Affairs team based in Copenhagen. We need someone who can take lead on understanding, advocating, and shaping the policy and regulatory developments that impact our business, driving positive impact on the market framework. The primary focus will be on Denmark, EU, and trade policy, as well as supporting our colleagues in Public Affairs globally.

We are looking for a Policy Specialist in our Global Public Affairs team based in Copenhagen. We need someone who can take lead on understanding, advocating, and shaping the policy and regulatory developments that impact our business, driving positive impact on the market framework. The primary focus will be on Denmark, EU, and trade policy, as well as supporting our colleagues in Public Affairs globally.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse policies and regulatory frameworks in DK and EU
- Ongoing contact with politicians, authorities and other public stakeholders in DK and EU
- Prepare market and policy briefings for senior management
- Develop advocacy strategy, policy positioning and recommendations
- Engage with national and international trade and industry associations
- Responsible for trade policy as well as support on EU related priorities
Qualification
- First and foremost a team player
- Experience in the field of public affairs, government relations, policy, and regulatory affairs
- Good business acumen and ability to bridge policy activities with business objectives
- Solid networking skills and able to appear professional and confident
- Analytical mind-set combined with sharp and effective communication skills
- Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., political science, law, business, etc.)
- International experience, e.g., from an international company, is a plus
- Ability to understand and adapt to a multicultural environment
- Superior Danish and English written and oral skills
