JOIN OUR PEOPLE AND COMMUNICATION TEAM IN LYNGBY

In People and Communication, we are more than 130 skilled HR and communication specialists across the globe.

As our new Head of HR Business Partnering, Denmark, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Vice President of COWI Denmark and their leadership team in developing our Danish business by translating business goals into people actions and organisational initiatives.

You will lead a team of 4 HR Business Partners who partners with leaders in COWI Denmark. COWI is a people business and thus the team plays a key role in implementing the new COWI strategy.

You will be reporting to SVP, People & Communication and be a member COWI's HR Leadership team and be a member of the COWI Denmark leadership team. In your role as Head of HR Business Partnering, Denmark, you will be responsible for influencing significant business decisions as well as developing and supporting COWI's global HR solutions.

A POSITION THAT WILL ADVANCE YOUR DEVELOPMENT FURTHER

Co-creation and collaboration are essential to us, and you will be working together with different stakeholders, including managers at all levels, to ensure implementation, integration, and synergies – all in collaboration with the business and colleagues in the People and Communication department.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • collaborating with business leaders to identify business priorities and ensure that the people strategies and organizational strategies are effective to achieve desired business outcomes
  • coaching, inspiring, and developing the HR Business Partner team in COWI Denmark and, in alignment with COWI's values, create an environment of trust, respect, and high engagement
  • recognizing and identifying improvement opportunities across people-related topics in COWI Denmark, with the long-term goal of constantly improving simplification, improve processes and implement HR best practices in alignment with the business goals
  • applying your understanding of internal and external business drivers to guide the leadership team through ongoing business evolution and changing ways of working
  • applying knowledge of the future direction of the organization to guide talent assessment and make decisions on talent needs and solutions (e.g., whether to build, buy, or borrow)
  • Provide expert advice to COWI group functions when required e.g., Talent Management, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development

Your skills and competences are the key to our success. You will build trust with your stakeholders and influence decision processes and navigate across different cultures.

Furthermore, you have:

  • a master's degree
  • extensive experience within HR, predominantly as an HR Business Partner
  • people management experience, e.g., of HR teams
  • experience in guiding company-wide and initiatives and develop change management plans, including all elements required to transform an organisation
  • a solid HR toolbox, especially Talent mgmt., Leadership development and Organisational development
  • experience guiding organisational change processes including coaching leaders at all levels of an organisation
  • experience using data, when advising leaders on organisational decisions
  • experience with operational HR such as termination, mobility, and grievances
  • experience from an international environment
  • Fluency in Danish and English both in writing and speech
