You will join our Urban Civil Structures department
As our new Senior Specialist, you will be part of an international department at Ramboll’s global headquarters in Copenhagen, and work on major infrastructure projects across all stages from planning through to construction together with our team of highly engaged and specialized engineers.
Our team is well balanced between senior experts, project managers, specialists and newly graduates. Knowledge sharing and open-minded collaboration across all levels within the department and other departments is part of our DNA and enables us to deliver innovative yet efficient solutions on a high quality standard.
Your future colleagues have extensive experience bringing major infrastructural and multidisciplinary projects to life such as the Fehmarn Belt tunnel between Denmark and Germany and the Nordhavnsvej tunnel in Copenhagen. Our team of experienced designers and project managers work on all types of concrete structures such as cut and cover tunnels, metro stations, cloud burst structures as well as onshore and offshore wind turbine foundations in concrete. Our engineers work alongside colleagues from other departments both nationally and internationally to cover all the necessary services to deliver these projects.
The multidisciplinary aspect of Ramboll as a whole and the Urban Civil Structures department specifically gives you a unique opportunity to work with experts from other fields than your own, thereby developing your skills further.

- Drive the development of our skill set together with the team
- Maintain the highest level of quality in our deliverables
- Responsible for our technical project deliverables as discipline lead/ design manager
- Act as role model for our younger team
- Contribute to the department’s strategic development
Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is:
- A master’s degree in Structural Engineering (or similar)
- Preferably more than 10 years proven experience in the design of concrete civil structures
- Extensive experience with complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, such as tunnels, bridges and wind turbine foundations
- Used to deal with many stakeholders in dynamic, sometimes hectic project phases
- The ability to speak and write Danish and English at a conversational level
