You will join our department for Ports, Marine and Geo Structures
As our new colleague, you will be part of a highly engaged and ambitious team with good collaboration, where you will have a unique opportunity to develop professionally. You will be based in Ramboll’s global headquarters in Copenhagen, where you will be working on and leading port and marine projects around the world with special focus on Scandinavia, North America, Africa and Southeast Asia.
You will be met with a high level of trust, which will give you the freedom to lead and develop your project team. You will ensure the high-class project delivery in all project phases that our clients are accustomed to, when working with the Ports, Marine and Geo Structures department in Ramboll.
On our multidisciplinary projects we encourage strong cohesion between the involved disciplines to ensure that all members of the team can bring value to some of the most complex projects in Ramboll’s portfolio, both in Scandinavia and internationally.

It will be a plus if you master one of the Scandinavian languages, however not a prerequisite.

- Lead port and marine projects, being responsible for technical excellence and project delivery in all project phases
- Take on responsibilities to evolve our technical excellence further and train the next generation of engineers with a practical and go-to-market approach
- Support our business development ambitions to expand our market share
Your starting point for constant growth
From the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company. For this role, we believe your starting point is based on the following:
- A relevant degree in marine or structural engineering
- A theoretical background and practical knowledge of structural design especially related to port and marine structures
- A substantial trackrecord of relevant experience with design and management of port and marine projects (i.e. quays, piers, jetties, wharves, breakwaters, docks etc.)
- A strong overall understanding of related disciplines such as geotechnical or coastal engineering
- Proven experiences on leading multidisciplinary projects and handling the associated interfaced
- A practical approach and a good insight in construction methods and contractor`s capabilities and restrictions
- A solid insight to the marine market in Scandinavia and/or other growing markets around the world and an ambition to grow our business
