You will report to the Head of Business Finance - Fleet & Projects and work closely with senior stakeholders across business- and Finance functions, incl. our global service centre.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks incl. investment cases and business performance management of the Chartering function.
You are expected to obtain a thorough understanding of the business and combine this with financial insights.
Specific responsibilities include:
Securing transparency of financials on selected business cases. This includes standardizing high-quality material and processes specifically with regards to the various authority thresholds.
Modelling and owning vessel-related business cases for purchasing- and newbuilding projects, charter leases, divestments, etc.
Overall performance management of the charter lease mandate and of all vessel-related balance sheet impacts. Support business strategy and drive assessment of derived long term financial impacts.
Engaging with senior business stakeholders presenting business cases, ad hoc analysis and providing analytical support to business.
Support and drive relevant finance transformation work streams incl. improvement of data quality by leveraging new system roll-out and the Finance organization, in general.
You hold a Master’s degree in finance, economics, MBA or equivalent.
You have 10 years of work experience within investment analytics, project controlling, financial planning, management and/or strategy consultancy, business development or equivalent.
You have a positive attitude and have outspoken collaboration skills.
Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint is a requirement as you will be leading financial modelling. Experience from working with business intelligence systems is an advantage.
You are characterized as a strong analytical hands-on-person and thrive with multiple tasks and challenges at hand. Your ability to coordinate and follow up support you in getting things done even when time is limited.
You hold a certain level of robustness and thrive in influencing and challenging senior stakeholders across the business and Finance functions.
You are a self-starter, striving for continuous process improvements and hold attention to the detail.
Excellent communication skills and mastering the discipline of presenting data in a clear and concise manner is a must.
You are fluent in written and spoken English. Danish is not required.
