The Position As our new IT & Data Professional, you will connect equipment from our new non-GMP facilities to our corporate network and make data available to our colleagues who develop our API processes. You will take on the challenge of: Ensuring data collection from various laboratory and industrial equipment using for instance the OSIsoft PI System
Build data pipelines from equipment all the way to the appropriate storages, involving multiple stakeholders and complying to IT security and network requirements
IT system maintenance and end-user support tasks
Writing software applications/scripts in several programming languages
You will be working in a flexible working environment where most of your colleagues are IT end-users with engineering or life-science backgrounds. Your input and background will be appreciated as it brings different angles to our discussions and way of working. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: A master’s degree within computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or other relevant degree
Experience with OSIsoft PI, other data collection platforms or SCADA solutions
Coding skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
Any experience working with industrial communication protocols, PLCs, or automation, potentially in a pharma context, will be plus
Good communication skills in English

About the Department At CMC API Development, we specialize in creating APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for clinical trials. Our Digital Development team is responsible for the laboratory equipment's IT components and associated data. To better support data collection from equipment and integration with other data sources, we're upgrading our IT and automation platform. This includes identifying our future needs and implementing IT and data solutions that fulfil those needs. In some cases, we'll adopt generic solutions available across Novo Nordisk, and in others, we'll implement and maintain local solutions that are more tailored to our requirements.
