In this dual position as both team lead and senior scientist, you will enjoy the best of both worlds as you develop your leadership skills and dive into the interaction of medical devices interface to the human body to develop user realistic models to support device testing.
Make your mark on our future within the pre-clinical field
At our HQ in Humlebæk, you will join the Pre-clinical team consisting of a mix of 35 scientists, specialists and laboratory technicians. You will manage a creative and highly skilled team of 8 scientists and laboratory technicians, responsible for pre-clinical testing of our wound, continence and ostomy care products. Products that help improve lives across the world.

Advance your leadership capabilities and creativity as a scientist
You will spend around half your time with management tasks and the other half working on equal terms with the other scientists. While your team works with wound, continence and ostomy care devices, you will be specialised in device testing relating to lower urinary tract issues and urodynamics.
Your tasks will be to:

Your tasks will be to:
- Ensure successful people management within the device testing team and work closely together with the rest of the Pre-clinical management team
- Develop new pre-clinical test methods and models and perform device testing in the laboratory in a team together with a laboratory technician
- Build a strong knowledge base within the team that supports Coloplast’s strategic focus on securing clinical evidence
- Collaborate with external partners and create networks to support our technical development, e.g. through student projects with universities

Senior scientist with leadership skills
- You have experience with test development in the medical device area where the study of biology and materials intersect, preferably within the pre-clinical field
- Preferably have good management experience or the skills it takes to manage a group of highly skilled specialists
- You speak and write English fluently and preferably Danish as well
