If this is you then apply today! The position You will be responsible for the storage and logistics of the library of research compounds in our Global Research organisation. The responsibility includes knowledge and understanding of dynamic workflows, as well as the needs of the individual research projects within compound management. Furthermore, driving the implementation of new automation and digitalisation initiatives will be part of the position. Your main tasks will be: Managing and leading the daily work in collaboration with a team of highly qualified colleagues securing both in and out of storage. Being responsible for the equipment and its maintenance including a close collaboration with vendors and technical staff. Exploring opportunities and driving activities for expansion and implementation of next level automation and digitalisation of inventory management of our research compounds and beyond in collaboration with colleagues in research. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you: Hold a relevant university degree or professional diploma, preferably within engineering or life science. You have profound knowledge of automation, digitalisation and logistics. An understanding of project management is preferred. It is considered an advantage if you have a track record of working with inventory and sample management systems Should value knowledge sharing with other scientists and laboratory technicians. Have proficiency in English, both written and spoken. As a person, you have a flexible mind-set and find it motivating to work in a dynamic research environment. You are a team player with a constructive attitude who takes pride in working with and understanding challenges. In addition, you possess good networking and communication skills and are creative in finding solutions to challenges encountered during your daily work. About the department Formulation & Delivery is dedicated to secure compound management of all compounds invented in research. We utilise advanced robotic technologies to achieve quality in what we deliver. Currently the department is responsible for three large robotic freezers to facilitate short- or long-term storage. Furthermore, we deliver formulations of all molecular modalities for preclinical in vivo and in vitro studies within all therapeutic areas in Global Research. We work closely together with scientist inside Novo Nordisk globally as well as with both industry and academic partners outside Novo Nordisk.
