Are you ready to take on the responsibility for ADME studies being run in our labs as well as studies performed by collaborators? The position As an ADME scientist, you will be responsible for absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion, and drug-drug interaction evaluation in drug candidate projects in development. Studies will be conducted both at contract research organisations and in-house. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Working with several stakeholders within R&D and conducting different types of ADME and DDI studies.
  • Providing input to regulatory documents.
  • Working with different techniques and methods within in vitro DDI assays, HPLC with radio-detection and LC-MS.
    • Qualifications To be successful in this position, you have:
  • A master’s degree or PhD in Life Sciences.
  • Passion for analytical chemistry and drug development.
  • Preferably experience working with in vitro DDI and drug metabolism studies including metabolite characterisation of peptides/proteins, oligonucleotides, and small molecules.
  • In addition to your scientific profile and understanding of scientific data handling, you are a dedicated team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Other qualifications of relevance for the position are an interest in digitalisation, data science and pharmacokinetics modelling.

Your interpersonal skills assist you in creating trustful relations across professions and geography, and you bring a healthy sense of humour to your work. About the department You will be part of the ADME department, which consist of 7 scientists and 4 technicians: all highly skilled and dedicated people working together in an open and scientifically challenging environment. We are responsible for drug metabolism and drug-drug interactions (DDI) from late-stage discovery, throughout non-clinical and clinical development towards drug registration.
